Terms of Service

Using This Site

Longtail Analytics provides public portfolio pages, free diagnostic tools, a Google Analytics dashboard, knowledge graph utilities, and contact paths for consulting work. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and only with information you have the right to submit.

Free Tools

The free tools are provided for informational and diagnostic purposes. They may produce incomplete, delayed, or incorrect results, especially when public pages block crawlers, Google APIs are unavailable, or submitted content is ambiguous.

You are responsible for reviewing tool output before using it in your website, analytics setup, marketing decisions, or business workflows.

Google Analytics Dashboard

If you connect Google Analytics, you authorize Longtail Analytics to request read-only access to the GA4 properties available to your Google account and display selected report data in the dashboard.

You should only connect Google Analytics accounts and properties that you are authorized to access. You can disconnect through the dashboard logout link or revoke access in your Google Account.

Your Content

You retain ownership of URLs, text, documents, analytics data, and messages you submit. You grant Longtail Analytics permission to process that content only as needed to provide the requested tool, diagnostic, dashboard, or response.

Consulting Work

Submitting a form, running a diagnostic, or booking a conversation does not create a consulting engagement. Paid consulting work, deliverables, payment terms, confidentiality obligations, and ownership terms are governed by a separate written agreement.

No Warranties

The website and free tools are provided "as is" and "as available." Longtail Analytics does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free results, specific business outcomes, or compatibility with every analytics, SEO, or website configuration.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit content you do not have the right to use.
  • Use the tools to probe, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the site.
  • Attempt to access another person's Google Analytics data without permission.
  • Use generated outputs for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

Third-Party Services

Some features depend on third-party services, including Cloudflare, Google APIs, and Web3Forms. Their own terms and policies may apply to your use of those services through this site.
